Lured by the promise of free land and a prosperous agricultural experience, settlers flocked to the Upper Missouri River Breaks in north central Montana in the early years of the twentieth century. Soon after they arrived, settlers discovered the harsh conditions that made homesteading in the Upper Missouri River Breaks so difficult. Pride and Perseverance—Settlers in the Upper Missouri River Breaks chronicles the stories of the early settlers, as told by their descendents.

Digital Wave provided script writing, story production, plus HD video acquisition and editorial, in the creation of this 28-minute documentary.
